Role of RNDA

Random North Development Association (RNDA) is a well-established NGO (incorporated June 1980) and is the lead organization that fostered at the community level the development and growth of the BTG Model. Based on best practices and lessons learned, RNDA has developed infrastructure (supporting documents) to implement the BTG Model in other jurisdictions (both provincially and nationally).

It is envisioned that RNDA will partner with provincial and federal government departments and agencies to implement future applications of the BTG Model by:

  • Co-ordinating services with other NGOs
  • Mentoring and playing a transitional role with NGOs interested in implementing the BTG Model
  • Sharing best practices and lessons learned
  • Ensuring steps are in place to maintain the integrity and quality of the BTG Model
  • Assisting other NGOs develop the infrastructure required to implement a model like BTG

RNDA’s Accomplishments

  • Co-ordinated pan-provincial initiatives
  • Provided counselling services to defined target client groups
  • Has administered approximately 175 projects
