The BTG Model has been externally evaluated from a social and economic perspective. Community Learning Networks (CLNs) have learned from best practices and commitment to meaningful partnerships. Based on evaluative processes, including a return on investment study, the BTG Model does have a positive impact at many levels, including:

  • Communities – Local CLNs that engage in implementing the BTG Model
  • BTG Participant Group – Individuals who have barriers to seeking employment
  • Business Sectors – BTG assists businesses that are facing challenges in employing skilled and qualified workers. BTG works with businesses that are expanding their operations or with new start-ups
  • Federal and Provincial Treasuries – A return on investment for both orders of government

Since the first pilot project in 1998, RNDA has been working with stakeholders to explore areas to decrease costs associated with implementing BTG Projects.
